Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud has issued a decree establishing the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management at Tanta University. The Committee is tasked with approving crisis management plans and policies, addressing potential risks, and overseeing all aspects of the crisis management system across the university’s faculties, facilities, and premises. The Committee is chaired by the University President, with the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development serving as Deputy Chair, and the Director of the University’s Crisis Management and Decision-Making Unit serving as the Committee’s Rapporteur. Its membership also includes various specialized administrative and security personnel from the university.
