Risk Management Workshop for Faculty of Arts Students
As part of the Crisis Management and Decision-Making Unit's efforts to enhance the university's crisis management system and in alignment with Tanta University’s plan to educate its community on crisis management and risk mitigation the Unit, in collaboration with the University’s Quality Assurance Center, held a workshop titled "Risk Management and the Use of Fire Extinguishers." The workshop, held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, targeted students from the Faculty of Arts and aimed to prepare them to meet the institutional accreditation requirements set by the National Authority for Quality Assurance.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Magharbl, Director of the University’s Crisis Management and Decision Making Unit, and Engineer Osama Shalaby, Director of the General Administration for Occupational Safety and Health. The workshop included an educational component on crisis management, the role of students in effectively managing crises and addressing risks, as well as an explanation of fire extinguisher components, their proper use, and the fundamentals of responding to a fire.
