The Job Performance Evaluation Unit was established in June 2021 with the vision of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Zaki - President of the University.
The job performance evaluation unit is one of the fair foundations for measuring the progress of employee performance in the entity in which it operates. The Performance Evaluation Unit applies the principle of institutional governance, which ensures transparency in the procedures for measuring the level of performance of centers/units/employees for their job duties, and the achievement of the objectives of each center or unit in accordance with certain elements and standards within a specific period of time, enabling the government entity represented by Tanta University to take action. Appropriate decisions related to the director of the center/unit or the employee during his service, and the employee’s performance is evaluated in accordance with the performance evaluation system. The unit is affiliated with the main center for institutional performance.
Stages of work development in the Job Performance Evaluation Unit:
first stage:
Activating an electronic platform for evaluation, where each person responsible for evaluating his employees sets evaluation scores and uploads them to the platform.
Successfully completing the implementation of the evaluation system for all major centers at the university, with a total of 95 centers and units.
Second stage:
Completion of the implementation of the evaluation system for directors of quality assurance units in colleges, with a total of 13 units.
Activating the platform in four colleges at the university to evaluate their sector managers, with an average of 17 sectors in each college.
third stage:
Considering the performance evaluation unit as one of the criteria for selecting colleges in the government excellence competition.
The Job Performance Evaluation Unit is considered the official instrument approved by the Professor, President of the University, when selecting leaders at the University.
