Dean of Tanta Faculty of Medicine chairs the third committee to evaluate job performance at the college

The third performance evaluation committee was held at the Faculty of Medicine,

Tanta University, under the patronage and chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim,

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of

Directors of University Hospitals, with the membership of Dr. Dina Ziada, Director

of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty, Dr. Tahani Allam, Lecturer in the

Department of Computer Engineering and Automatic Control at the Faculty of

Engineering, Tanta University and Director of the Performance Evaluation Unit at

the University, and Professor Ayman Al-Ghamry, Secretary of the Faculty, in the

presence of Dr. Louay Al-Ahwal, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service

and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nahal Al-Mashhad, Coordinator of

Institutional Governance and International Classification at the Faculty, Dr. Yasmine

Al-Harty, Head of the Performance Evaluation Unit at the Faculty, and the directors

of the departments residing in the administrative apparatus within the Faculty.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of Directors of

University Hospitals, stressed the interest of the Faculty administration in continuing

to conduct job evaluation within the administrative apparatus of the Faculty,

developing the administrative system, and linking performance to goals and

standards of institutional excellence in light of the state's orientation towards the new

republic and Egypt's vision 2030.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Board of Directors

of University Hospitals, added that performance evaluation is an integral part of

administrative development in order to achieve the principle of management by

objectives to develop administrative work, raise the level of job performance, raise

the efficiency of workers and the level of achievement, and increase the satisfaction

of beneficiaries and those dealing with various departments, noting that this

committee is the third committee to evaluate department managers in the college's

administrative apparatus after conducting it for the first time in December 2023 AD

and the second time in July 2024 AD, and this evaluation will be conducted regularly

"every 6 months".

The committee confirmed that it is carrying out its work with complete transparency

and impartiality, and the evaluation result will be approved by Professor Dr. Ahmed

Ghoneim, Dean of the College, and uploaded to the electronic platform

performance evaluation. Department managers expressed their benefit from the

performance evaluation committee.

Evaluating the performance of department managers is an important strategy

followed by the college administration with the aim of measuring the extent to which

the goals of department managers are consistent with the goals, visions and

aspirations of the college administration, and increases the ability of department

managers to do their best for the development of the administrativesystem in the

college.
