The Faculty of Commerce, Tanta University, witnessed the organization of the training unit at the faculty, in cooperation with the Egyptian Post in Gharbia and the main center for digital transformation and financial inclusion at the university, a symposium on “Digital Transformation and Financial Inclusion” that day at 11 am in the conference hall at the faculty, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein, acting president of the university. Professor Dr. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs In the presence of Professor Dr. Yasser Al-Jarf, Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hani Mahareq, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Professor Dr. Ramadan Maan, Executive Director of the Main Center for Digital Transformation and Financial Inclusion at the University, Dr. Maysa Ali, Coordinator of the Training Unit at the College and lectured there, Professor / Hassan Khairy Sibaq, President. Central Delta Post Office Sector, Mr. Atef Gomaa Behairy, Director General of the General Postal Administration for the Gharbia Region, Mr. Tamer Mahmoud Masoud, Head of the Collections Department for the Postal Port in Gharbia, Mr. Amal Saeed, Public Relations Officer at the Gharbia Postal Authority, Mr. Sherif El-Deeb, Head of the Sales Department at the Gharbia Postal Authority, and Mr. Mohamed Attia. Sales official at the Postal Service in Gharbia, in the presence of a number of department heads, department directors, college employees, and students.
For his part, the Director General of the North October Postal District (National Postal Authority) presented the Egyptian Postal Shield to the Dean of the College as an expression of his thanks for hosting the Faculty of Commerce at Tanta University this introductory symposium that explains the various postal services. The symposium dealt with introducing the concept of digital transformation and financial inclusion Their importance was also reviewed for the development of the Egyptian Post, the wide spread of post offices and the various services provided by the Egyptian Post and the diversification thereof, in addition to Egypt’s digital services and the role of the Egyptian Post in supporting digital transformation and financial inclusion.
