Program accreditation standards

The Faculty of Commerce at Tanta University organized a workshop for the Quality Assurance Unit in cooperation with the Training Unit entitled “Software Accreditation Standards (Comparison between New and Old Version Indicators)”, in the conference hall of the Faculty, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of the University. For community service and environmental development affairs, in the presence of Professor Dr. Yasser Al-Jarf, Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Dina Abdel Hadi, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Hani Mahareq, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Maysa Ali, Acting Director of the Quality Assurance Unit and Coordinator of the Training Unit at the College, in the presence of a number of faculty members, heads of administrative departments, administrators, and students.

The symposium was attended by Professor Dr. Hajar Alam El-Din, auditor and certified trainer at the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, during which she discussed the general objective of the programs, what are the standards for program accreditation, and methods for disseminating the vision, mission, and goals of higher education programs, The evaluation methods used, the importance of the student guide and its publication, the mechanism for setting exams and working with controls, and the importance of students’ participation in formation councils, all of this in light of the comparison between the indicators of the new version for the year 2022 and a comparative analysis between it and the 2009 version.
